Riraki Reloaded

factoryreset2013:

Seriously. What really inspires me isn’t the really buff guys at the gym, but the overweight people who are consistently at the gym, doing something with their health.
I see this girl often at my gym a lot. She’s not obese, but she has some weight. I see her lifting with medicine balls, and I see her on the elliptical. Sometimes when I get tired, and she’s there, she really gives me the second wind. I mean, if she’s pushing herself, shouldn’t I be too?

MY STORY
The top photo on the left shows an example of “Pectus Excavatum”.
The top photo on the right shows an example of “Pectus Carinatum”.
Pectus Excavatum is a a rather COMMON birth deformity causing your sternum to grow inwards, whereas Pectus Carinatum is a deformity causing your sternum to grow outwards. I was born with a rare form of Pectus Carinatum which is Asymmetrical Pectus Carinatum, which unlike other Pectus deformities, it causes my chest to protrude outward but only on one side of my chest.
Pectus Excavatum and Carinatum are common in both men and women but are only noticeable in men and although there are no real physical problems that come with it, it most commonly affects the psychological part of men’s lives. Causing them to be self conscious about their appearance. Growing up I was always skinny and my Pectus deformity was always a problem, I never took my shirt off for anyone. I later gained weight and worked hard at the gym everyday in hopes that I will get a somewhat “normal” physique. And now, I am almost there, I think competing in men’s physique as a sponsor to those people with Pectus deformities will soon follow and realize that it is NOT impossible. You don’t NEED surgery. All you need is hope, faith, and God to lead the way. You are in control of your body and what you do with it is all up to you. I want you guys to know, that you are who you are, and although we can’t change some of the things we are born with, we can embrace our faults and make the best of it.

Day 32

My upperbody hurts so much I could only do 8 reps.
And then Shaun T made me move my arms too.  WTH man.
I iz sore.

Day 25

I’m going to omit the P90X from now on because I don’t always do P90X.  This time around, I am more focused on being active for 90ish days.  So currently, I skip Yoga X.  And instead of Ab Ripper X I do a workout from Hip Hop Abs.  Historical evidence has shown that I get bored easily, so this was necessary.

Though this week is recovery week and today was X Stretch, I did the Hip Hop Abs full body workout.  Fuck you Shaun T, everything hurts.
